Deanna Mosher

Owner | Managing Attorney

I am proud to be the owner and managing attorney of Raleigh Real Estate Law, where I have the privilege of building meaningful relationships and creating a client experience that feels approachable, calm, and well-supported — from start to finish.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, my path to Raleigh has been exploratory yet purposeful. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!), where my involvement in the entrepreneurship program sparked a lasting interest in thinking beyond traditional paths, tackling problems creatively, and building something of my own.

Ready for sun, sand, and something new, I headed south to earn my Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. During law school, I gained valuable experience at a respected estate planning firm, where I learned the complexities of trusts and wills.

After discovering how fun moving cross-country can be, I decided – why not do it again? The next move was North to Minnesota to be closer to family and friends (yes, I now understand the drastic temperature change!). I passed the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) and began my career in real estate at a title company. While there, I gained a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of the entire closing process — from the initial title search to the final disbursement.

That experience shaped how I practice today and reinforced my desire to be engaged at every stage. This mindset will continue to be a driving force for how I practice — and will remain deeply engrained in everything I do.

Finding a literal middle-ground between Florida and Minnesota, I relocated to North Carolina and found the best of both worlds! I joined a well-established real estate firm, where I expanded my knowledge in residential and commercial real estate transactions. I have worked closely with multiple builders on new construction closings, and handled complex commercial matters, many involving 1031 exchanges.

Together, these experiences shaped my desire to take ownership of Raleigh Real Estate Law, allowing me to intentionally shape how we practice law and care for the people we serve. I am honored by what we’ve established, the bonds we’ve formed, and the trust our clients place in us. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to guide clients through one of the most important transactions, and milestones, of their lives.
