CHARLIE COLE
Charlie Cole was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating high school in 2003, he joined the United States Marine Corps, completed Basic Training and Infantry School in California, and served in training exercises in Iceland, Ireland, and Poland.
When he returned home, he enrolled at Michigan State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2010. After undergrad, he attended Michigan State University College of Law from which he received his JD and Michigan Law license in 2014.
After law school, and a brief stint practicing criminal law at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Charlie took a non-legal position with a global enterprise level corporation. He came back to the practice of law when he decided to move to North Carolina to escape the cold weather. He took the North Carolina bar exam in February of 2021 and joined the Raleigh Real Estate Law team in July of 2021.
When he’s not working, he loves to hike and explore the beautiful trails in North Carolina. He also doesn’t mind a lazy Saturday at the house grilling for friends and family with his fiancé Jess and her two kids, Max and Cam. Summer concerts (unashamed No Shoes Nation fan boy) and beach trips are annual traditions he doesn’t miss
